Privacy Policy
Beyond Health Therapy ("we", "us") is run by Alex Tsartoglou. This policy explains what personal information the website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to align with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
What we collect
- Newsletter sign-up. If you submit the newsletter form, we collect your email address.
- Coaching enquiries. If you use the coaching request form or email or text us, we collect the details you choose to provide — typically your name, email, phone number, availability, and what you'd like to focus on.
- Bookings. If you book a session, our booking provider (Calendly) collects your name, email, the time you choose, and any answers you give to the booking questions.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to operate and secure the site.
We do not use advertising trackers or third-party marketing cookies. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
How we use it
- Your email address is used only to send the newsletter you signed up for. Every edition includes an unsubscribe link, and we act on unsubscribe requests promptly.
- Coaching enquiry details are used only to respond to you about coaching and, if you go ahead, to deliver it. Enquiry details are not added to the newsletter list.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Who can access it
We use third-party service providers to run the site and its forms — currently our website host and form handler (Netlify), our booking provider (Calendly), and, for coaching correspondence, standard email. These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We share your information with them only to the extent needed to provide the service.
How long we keep it
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Coaching correspondence is kept for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet any record-keeping obligations, then deleted on request or when no longer needed.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any edition.
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
- Raise a concern about how we've handled your information. If we can't resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
